The following images explore the beauty and complexity of the layers of objects which surround all of us; they maybe familiar to us and we may use them or their contents most days but they tend to be placed into the background. Using just a scanner, which offers a unique way of capturing light reflection, the images focus and explore the surface design, shape, colour and texture of each object and how light affects the fluid content or solid mass of each.
